Hello, everyone! Have you visited the BBC podcast web site that I mentioned in my last post? I have just downloaded one of my favourites, BH “Broadcasting House”. As I said, all the BBC podcasts are free of charge. I have checked the terms of use. It says “The BBC Podcasts are for your personal non-commercial use only.” Then ownership rights and other important things continue.

Hello, everyone! I am Katsuyuki. Are you enjoying studying English? I am actually! I regularly get BBC podcasts for English study. I talked about this topic with Steve in our last lesson. The podcasts are all free and there are about 300 of them available! I think that podcasts are an excellent listening practice material. You can check the pronunciation spoken by British people as well.

Known as the summer solstice (日本語にすると「夏至」), it is the day when the northern hemisphere is closest to the sun. In many northern countries — like my home, Alaska — this is a big day for parties and barbeques as we celebrate the midnight sun!
